Temple Digital Group and HIFI Partner to Expand US Dollar Funding and Settlement on the Canton Network

Deposit and withdraw US dollars from your bank account, trade on Temple, and settle on Canton.
Starting next week, Temple will offer the ability to fund non-custodial wallets on Canton directly from bank accounts. Clients will be able to fund accounts in US dollars, trade on Canton, and withdraw to all HIFI supported banks 24/7.
How it works
- Open a USD account inside Temple.
- Deposit US dollars from your bank.
- US dollars convert to stablecoins, in the form of USDCx, and arrive automatically in your Canton wallet through HIFI.
- To convert back to US dollars, simply convert and withdraw USDCx back to USD and into your bank account.
HIFI processes more than $6 billion in annualized volume across 150 countries. Their customers range from Fortune 100 companies to fintech startups building the next generation of stablecoin-native products.
Temple is approaching $250M in volume and accounts for over 40% of all Canton traffic burned across the network. Integrating HIFI's US dollar funding and settlement services is a key step in expanding Temple's offering to our growing list of Canton ecosystem partners and clients.
US dollar accounts will be available to all eligible customers.
“We’re looking forward to offering non-custodial, compliant USD funding and settlement to our growing user base through HIFI. Offering infrastructure for dollar to stablecoin conversion is a critical component of growing institutional solutions on Canton”
— Evan Varsamis, CEO, Temple Digital Group
"Money should move as fast as information. Stablecoins make that possible, but only when they connect to the banking system seamlessly. Moving dollars from your bank account to onchain and back should be effortless."
— Zach Walsh, CEO, HIFI.com
